Memory Walk 2010 - 19 September
Will you be one of the 1,000 people who will Walk to Remember in September?
Honour the 23,000 West Australians with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. Walk, jog or run as many times around the 0.5km Oval or set yourself a challenge to complete a 42km marathon!
Each time you pass the finish line, you will be handed a "Memory Flag" that you can plant in the middle of the Oval at the end of your walk. Help us plant thousands of flags! 
Date: September 19th
Time: anytime between 9.30am and 4pm
Venue: Edinburgh Oval, Curtin University, Bentley (off Kent Street entrance)

A new Access Economics Report predicts Western Australia will see an increase of 375% in the number of people with dementia in the next three decades. The number of people diagnosed will rise from 23,000 in 2010 to 58,000 in 2030 and will reach 109,000 by 2050.
